Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings required; must be comfortable treating primarily SNF patients with some acute care patients.
- Experience working within a full on-site therapy team and collaborating with an on-site Director.
- Demonstrated proficiency with common PT interventions and documentation standards for SNF/acute populations.
- Valid professional liability insurance if required by facility.
- Preferred: experience with mobility programs, fall prevention protocols, and skilled documentation for Medicare/Medicaid billing.
