Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active New York State Physical Therapy License required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience treating musculoskeletal conditions including back, neck, shoulders, knees, hips, and elbows.
- Experience managing a mixed adult caseload, ages primarily in the 40s–70s; experience with youth athletes is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a productivity goal of approximately 14 patients per day with a two-patients-per-hour treatment model and 1:1 patient care. Current clinic average is ~13 patients per day.
- Experience using EMR systems; experience with Prompt EMR is preferred.
- Comfort with AI-assisted documentation tools is preferred. Therapists will use speech-enabled note generation to improve efficiency.
- Ability to collaborate in a team-based clinic with PTAs and techs supporting modalities and exercise assistance.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
- Shift: Days.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday with flexible hours.
- Weekend rotation: Approximately one Saturday per month (about 4 hours); candidates preferring Monday–Friday only may be considered. Weekend availability preferred but not required.
- Guaranteed hours: 36–40 hours per week.
- Caseload model: 1:1 patient care, no double booking; goal is 14 patients per day, current average ~13.
- Floating: May be required to float to other clinic locations based on coverage needs.
