Minimum Requirements
- Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active South Carolina Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred. This includes evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative care.
- Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week and seeing 12–14 patients per day; double-booking of follow-up visits expected (preferred).
- Willingness to float to other clinic locations as needed.
- Approval required from clinical director before working overtime hours.
- Open to first-time travelers and new graduates. PTA candidates will not be accepted for this position.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Primary schedule: 8-hour day shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and expectation to work up to 40 hours.
- Patient population: Outpatient orthopedics.
- Productivity expectation: ~60 visits/week, typically 12–14 patients/day; double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
- Overtime must be approved by the director prior to working.
- Candidate must be willing to float to neighboring clinics as required by the client.
