Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience required.
- Experience performing resident evaluations, establishing plans of care, and documenting functional long- and short-term goals.
- Experience working under physician orders and collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams in a long-term care setting.
- Ability to perform therapeutic procedures and modalities according to protocols and precautions.
- Preferred: experience with restorative nursing programs and working with geriatric populations.
