Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, or equivalent.
- Active Hawaii state license in Speech-Language Pathology required by the start of the assignment. Any traveler not currently in possession of an active Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of offer.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience. Client prefers experience in SNF-level care or a rehabilitation hospital.
- Acute care and inpatient rehabilitation experience required. Must be independent and proficient in completion of Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) in radiology without supervision by a radiologist.
- Experience with Meditech inpatient electronic documentation preferred. Candidate should be able to perform both computerized inpatient and paper outpatient documentation.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital, inpatient rehabilitation and acute care setting.
- Shift name: Days.
- Schedule: Generally a set schedule 5 days per week and likely to include 1 weekend day.
- EMR: Epic implementation scheduled (went live November 1, 2025).
- May receive referrals for outpatient care and may be required to provide services across unit areas within the facility.
