You will assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment to capture essential data on heart and vascular function.
What You'll Need:
- ARRT(R) certification for Radiologic Technologist or equivalent radiography certification.
- WI state licensure for radiologic technologists or other state license when required.
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting, including experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Experience with Cath Lab procedures listed in the order notes: diagnostic angiography, interventional PCI (including staged PCI, CTO), RHC/LHC, STEMI/NSTEMI workflows, valvuloplasty, atherectomy, IABP/Impella support, and peripheral diagnostic/interventional cases.
- Experience scrubbing and panning in catheterization cases. Ability to assist with conscious sedation and titration for RN candidates.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting and GE hemodynamic systems (Pruka/MacLab) preferred.
- RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) preferred but not required.
- Hybrid case experience (AAA/thoracic grafts, TAVR, Watchman) preferred.
Minimum Requirements / Client Specific Requirements:
- ARRT(R) certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent required.
- WI state licensure required when applicable.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab hospital experience with high-acuity adult cases.
- Demonstrated experience with high-volume cath lab procedures and devices (Volcano, St. Jude, Angiovac, EKOS, Alphavac, Anari noted as used by the facility).
- Ability to work 1:1 patient ratios in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Hybrid and ECMO experience preferred but not required.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital (Level III Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Comprehensive Stroke Center).
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift hours: 08:00–20:00.
- Standard hours per week: 40.
- Patient population: Adult high-acuity cath lab patients. No pediatric cases.
- Case volume: High volume, approximately 24–40 cases per day across shared lab spaces.
- Travel assignment duration: 13 weeks.
