Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for a hospital setting in Little Falls, MN.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT experience required.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program or equivalent education.
- Current ARRT certification required. (Preferred: ARRT-CT).
- BLS certification required.
- Solid hands-on CT experience; preference for CT over mammography experience.
- Experience with EPIC charting system and McKesson PACS preferred.
- Familiarity with Siemens 128-slice CT scanner and common radiology equipment (Siemens Ysio x‑ray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC C-arm, Hologic Mini-C) preferred.
- Experience performing CTA studies and trauma imaging preferred due to stroke designation and trauma volume.
- Ability to perform general radiography and assist with interventional procedures or C-arm use in surgery as needed.
- Must be able to meet the facility radius rule: candidates may not have been employed (FT, PT, or PRN) with facilities associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year.
- Affiliates must have an account to run the MN NetStudy prior to candidate submission.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital (Critical Access Hospital).
- Assignment duration: 13-week assignment.
- Shift type: Flex shifts; D/N rotation with 10-hour shifts and additional 8/10/12 hour coverage depending on need.
- Typical shift examples: 6:00a–2:30p, 8:00a–4:30p, 8:30a–5:00p, 9:30a–6:00p, 11:30a–8:00p, 12:00p–8:30p, 8:00p–6:00a, 6:00a–6:00p, 6:00p–6:00a.
- Weekend requirement: typically every third or fourth weekend.
- Holiday coverage as needed.
- May require call/standby when unit is short staffed; response expectations depend on schedule.
- Orientation: approximately 1 week department-specific; 12 orientation hours noted.
- Charting system: EPIC. PACS: McKesson.
- May be asked to float to assist with radiology injections/biopsies after training.
