Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide coordinated home health care to patients of all ages. The clinician will plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans in a home environment to help patients develop, regain, or maintain daily living skills. The role includes assessing occupational roles and performance, teaching adaptive techniques and equipment use, fabricating simple adaptive devices and splints, documenting progress, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current, unrestricted Arizona Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- Minimum two years of Occupational Therapy experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings required. Home health experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance required. Ability to travel locally and perform home visits required.
- Ability to perform physical job demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, prolonged standing and walking, and manual dexterity required.
- Experience with fabrication and maintenance of adaptive equipment and hand splints preferred.
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with Plan of Care (POC), progress notes, and clinical recordkeeping required.
