Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures and operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment to capture critical cardiovascular data.
What You'll Need:
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) required. RCIS preferred if previously listed as preferred; list as required per client-specific notes.
- BLS (AHA) required.
- ACLS (AHA) required.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology environment.
- Experience with EPIC charting system required.
- Experience with Siemens imaging equipment preferred.
- Experience with intra-procedural circulating duties, medication administration, and sedation required.
- Ability to work in a facility that performs STEMI responses and may support intra-aortic balloon pump stabilization.
- Driver's license required at submittal. Candidates must meet a 50-mile radius rule and may not be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with facilities associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity.
- Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas; refusal to comply may result in contract termination.
- Orientation: 12 hours of orientation plus one week of unit/department-specific orientation, including an on-call buddy call.
- Preferred: RCIS certification explicitly noted in order notes; list as preferred if candidate already holds additional relevant credentials.
