Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Experience with 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions preferred.
- Competence in documentation including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, functional quality indicator assessment, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic guidelines.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and to supervise or delegate discipline-specific therapy services.
- Experience with patient education, student supervision, and participation in performance improvement initiatives preferred.
