Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.
- Active Florida SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Competence with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including instrumental assessments such as FEES or videofluoroscopy experience preferred.
- Ability to provide documentation in electronic health record systems and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Client requires flexibility to float to other facilities for up to 40 hours during the contract period.
