Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Arizona OT state license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred. Candidate should have experience performing adult and/or geriatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and participating in interdisciplinary team discharge planning.
- Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and/or OT students preferred.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling and mobility techniques, infection control procedures, and documentation in an electronic medical record.
