Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals that not only taste excellent but also meet the necessary nutritional requirements. Your passion for cooking, knowledge of various cuisines, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be key to our culinary operations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 2 yrs cooking experience or Culinary Training
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work in a team.
Preferred:
- Preferable Experience in hospitality, a hospital or healthcare setting
- Serv-safe certificate
- Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
Scheduling Requirements:
- This is a full-time position with a shift from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
- The candidate must be available to work on weekdays and weekends as well as holidays.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately prepare patient meals in timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and tidy work station
- Handle all questions and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist in other areas as needed based on staffing and patient flow.
- Operate commercial cooking equipment
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
