Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Seymour, IN
Our busy, patient-focused dental practice in Seymour, Indiana is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our experienced and supportive team. With a collaborative environment and a strong commitment to excellent patient care, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality dentistry while maintaining a positive and team-oriented workplace. Our office currently has 13 team members, including multiple providers and EFDA assistants who support efficient patient care.
Schedule
Full-time or Part-time available
Full-time hours:
- Monday & Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Part-time:
- Hours negotiable within the schedule above
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental hygiene procedures and preventive care
- Conduct patient assessments and periodontal charting
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
- Assist with recare follow-up and patient communication
- Utilize dental lasers as part of treatment when applicable
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Support treatment flow and assist the team as needed
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using Dentrix
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Dependable and team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to excellent patient care
- Open to all levels of experience
Pay & Compensation
- $40–$50 per hour depending on experience
