As a Registered Nurse, you will be accountable for coordinating nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. You will support professional nursing practice across various settings and the continuum of care to meet the needs of patients and families. Your role will include:
- Planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients
- Providing leadership through preceptor roles, informal leadership, and quality improvement efforts
- Delegating patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, and available resources
- Mentoring and teaching, with opportunities to participate in committees or projects
Requirements for this role include:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (baccalaureate, associate, or diploma)
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) competency for Arizona and Florida; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) for the Midwest
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Need 1 year experience in setting
