CDL A Flatbed Driver | Myerstown, PA | Local - Home Daily
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatebd Driver to support local operations based in Myerstown, PA This is a temp to hire position.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, some Saturdays; 1 AM or 1 PM start time.
- Pay: $30/hr during orientation. $24/hr + components after training.
- Quarterly Performance/Safety Bonus
40 hours vacation
$50 for each and every tarp secured
$25/hr - Detention
$25/hr – Breakdown
$35/night- Per Diem if necessary
- Freight / Load Type: Roofing Materials, Flat Metal, Lumber
- Equipment: Automatic trucks
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate class A vehicles on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Strapping and Tarping
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
