Position Overview: We are seeking a
Part-Time Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our team, with a primary need for
Saturday coverage focused on general practice (GP) appointments. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian looking to supplement their schedule or maintain a flexible workload.
What You'll Do: - Provide high-quality medical care for small animal patients during GP appointments
- Perform physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Schedule: - Part-time role
- Primary need: Saturdays
- Additional weekday hours may be available based on candidate interest and hospital needs
Qualifications: - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
- Active or eligible veterinary license in Virginia
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player
