The Oncology Data Abstraction Specialist is responsible for extracting and abstracting oncology-related data from various sources to support clinical research, patient care, and quality improvement initiatives. This role involves meticulous data collection, validation, and entry, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Position Details:
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: 1 year of experience in cancer registry environment is preferred.
Certifications: ODS (Oncology Data Specialist) certification is required or obtain within the first year of hirer.
