Join our healthcare partner in Coos Bay, OR, where you'll play a vital role in managing OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the best outcomes for mothers and their newborns.
As a Labor & Delivery nurse, you'll be responsible for:
- Applying the nursing process to patient care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Teaching patients, their significant others, and support persons
- Documenting patient care in the medical record
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care
- Utilizing OBIX for fetal surveillance and EPIC for electronic health records
Requirements:
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications
- Experience with OBIX and EPIC systems highly preferred
- EFM and STABLE certifications highly preferred
