Role Overview
The Senior Vice President of Multifamily Operations is a pivotal enterprise executive responsible for the overall operational health, performance, and strategic direction of a large, complex multifamily portfolio spanning diverse geographies and asset types. This role is designed for a proven high-level leader, one who has sat at the helm, understands the full P&L, and brings a comprehensive, end‑to‑end understanding of the multifamily business. Reporting directly to the President, the SVP serves as the senior operating executive for the platform, providing leadership to approximately 90 operational leaders, including Regional Managers, Regional Vice Presidents, and Area Vice Presidents. This leader sets the operational vision, drives disciplined execution, develops executive talent, and ensures alignment between strategy, culture, and performance. Deeply steeped in the multifamily industry, the SVP brings both strategic perspective and operational rigor, understanding what drives NOI, how markets truly behave at the asset and submarket level, how capital partners think, and how decisions made at the top ultimately play out onsite. This executive balances high expectations with humility, knowing that sustainable success is achieved through people, partnerships, and a genuine respect for the “village” that makes performance possible.
