Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Minimum: 1+ year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred; no new graduates accepted per client request.
- Experience evaluating and developing individualized treatment plans, documentation of goals, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in outpatient settings.
- Experience supervising or delegating to therapy assistants, students, or other discipline-specific staff preferred.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling, infection control, and clinic safety protocols.
- Ability to comply with physician orders and payer documentation requirements.
- Maintains professional licensure and completes state-mandated continuing education.
- Preferred: experience with functional outcome measures and outpatient electronic medical record systems.
