TransForce is seeking CDL A Drivers to support operations based in
Alabaster, AL
This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details:
- Schedule: Mon-Sat (out and back layover runs)
- Pay: $1,740 Weekly Estimate ($0.58 CPM)
- Route Type: OTR, layover runs out and back to KC, NC, SC, and IN.
- Freight / Load Type: Automotive Parts
- Equipment: Volvo Sleeper Tractors w/ 53' dry van, Automatic
- Handling: No-touch, drop and hook
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment on regional routes
- Transport automotive parts in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks as required
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
