Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- State licensure as required for MRI technologists in Nebraska.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Experience working with EPIC charting system.
- Ability to perform CT and general radiography (X-ray) including operating in the OR environment. CT and X-ray certifications required.
- MRI experience of at least 2 years required if also seeking MRI duties; MRI certification is optional but preferred.
- Ability to support Level II trauma imaging needs and perform Heads and Spines MRI studies to support neurosurgery when requested.
- Driver’s license required at submittal to verify compliance with a 50-mile radius rule.
- Willingness to adhere to facility fingernail policy: artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas.
- Must not be currently employed (full time, part time, or PRN) at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity.
- Preferred: CT and X-ray certifications beyond ARRT. MRI certification preferred but optional.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Nights.
- Shift hours: 1800-0600 (12-hour shifts).
- Weekly schedule pattern: 7 days on, 7 days off; typical assignment shift sequence begins Thursday evening through the following Wednesday evening.
- Specific weekly shift pattern example: Thursday 1830–0600; Friday 1830–0600; Saturday 1830–0600; Sunday 1930–0600; Monday 1930–0600; Tuesday 1930–0600; Wednesday 1930–0600.
- Orientation hours: 12 hours.
- Guaranteed hours: 38 hours per week.
- Cancellation policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment; 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks.
- Floating: Candidate may be required to cross-cover CT and X-ray duties to support trauma and surgical services. No call expectations for staff in this role.
- Charting system: EPIC.
