As a Registered Nurse in the Cardio IC unit, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
- Administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures
- Documenting according to standards of care
- Developing, initiating, and executing a patient plan of care according to individualized needs
- Participating in department or unit performance improvement activities
- Utilizing clinical expertise to support other units/departments
- Applying critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and experience
Requirements for this role include:
- Current IL License, CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification
- Extensive Cardiac experience required
- ICU experience with willingness to float to Medical Surgical units if needed
- Need 1 year experience in setting
