Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required prior to start of assignment.
- Current BLS certification required from American Heart Association or equivalent.
- Experience providing home health physical therapy preferred.
- Clinical experience evaluating new patients, setting measurable treatment goals, and documenting outcomes.
- Proficiency with diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint and functional assessments and treatment modalities.
- Ability to provide patient/family education and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning.
- Comfort providing guidance to PTAs, aides, and students.
- Reliable transportation required for home health visits.
- Preferred: Specialist certification for applicants seeking a clinical specialist role; documentation of specialist certification required for that role.
