Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.
- Active Massachusetts SLP state license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience providing SLP services in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia management and modified barium swallow or fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) preferred.
- Ability to provide documentation in electronic medical record systems preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
- Work Days: Sunday through Saturday as scheduled (VMS lists Sun–Sat coverage).
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week as noted in client order.
- Contract Length: 14 weeks (client indicates 14-week contract).
- Candidate may be asked to float to other facilities within the client network as needed.
