Job Summary

The Metal Fabricator repairs and fabricates a variety of processing equipment and components utilized in our aggregate and ready-mix plants.

Compensation

Hourly $46.30

Responsibilities

Uses a wide variety of skills to maintain or repair equipment used to process aggregates, including conveyors, screen decks, cone crushers, feeders and pumps
Fabricates and assembles structural metal products, such as frameworks or shells for machinery, ovens, tanks, stacks and metal parts for buildings and bridges
Ensures a safe work environment, following company’s policies and procedures

Education

High school diploma/GED

Requirements/Qualifications

Experience with AWS certification, lathes, milling machines and other related equipment
Able to read plans and blueprints
Experience with shears, benders and other metal works equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Able to work and weld in a variety of settings including at heights, in tight spaces and awkward positions
5 years’ experience as a certified welder preferred

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
