Job Description Summary
Applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis on patient populations ranging from pediatrics through geriatrics. Performs radiographic examinations at a technical level requiring a thorough understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology, a high degree of technical competency, and the ability to exercise initiative and ingenuity with minimal supervision. Perform other duties as deemed necessary.

Job Description
Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider

Additional Job Description
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Experience: Zero to two years of modality specific work experience. Registration/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
