Deli Counter Team Member – Slicer & Hot Foods
If you love great food, fast-paced environments, and making someone’s day with a perfect slice or a hot, delicious meal, this role is for you. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable team member to join our deli—someone who takes pride in quality, cleanliness, and customer service
.What You’ll Do
• Prepare and slice meats and cheeses with precision, consistency, and safety in mind
• Serve hot, ready‑to‑eat foods while maintaining proper temperatures and presentation
• Provide warm, attentive customer service—answering questions, offering suggestions, and creating a welcoming experience
• Keep the deli area clean, stocked, and organized throughout your shift
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and equipment guidelines
• Assist with prep work, packaging, labeling, and rotating products to ensure freshness

What will you be doing?
- Build rapport with customers.
- Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
- Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.
- Stock product and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
- Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
- This position is applicable to the following departments: Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Grocery.
