Our fantastic family practice in Auburn is looking for a long-term temporary dental hygienist to work 2-4 days a week to cover for maternity leave. Any dates available for coverage would be considered. The practice is open Monday-Thursday from 8am to 5pm. This is a Dentrix office that provides in-house CEREC crowns, uses digital radiographs, and mostly paperless. This well-established, two doctor practice prides itself in providing high quality dental care in a comfortable environment. Maternity leave would be 07/06/2026 - 10/22/2026. Our hours are Mon-Thurs, 7:30am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch.
To be considered for our Registered Dental Hygienist position, you must:
- Have a Registered Dental Hygienist’s license
- Have a valid CPR card
- Be meticulous about oral health and the health of your patients.
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) duties include:
- Providing dental health education about tooth care and diet
- Removing plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
- Taking dental radiographs of teeth
- Applying prophylactic/antibacterial materials, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides to help prevent tooth decay
- Carrying out screening and monitoring procedures
