Overview: Perform diagnostic PET / CT and Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance to hospital, state and federal guidelines and policies. Have a working knowledge of all aspects of the above imaging modalities. Assist the patients, fellow staff and physicians as needed. Qualifications: Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups Required Education: Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine or Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine training program Preferred Education: Necessary Skills: 1. Have the mathematical skills to properly calculate doses and apply routine nuclear medicine formulas as needed. 2. Work with fellow technologist and professional staff to maximize patient workload. Required Licensure/Certifications: Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(N)) Licensed by the State of Florida as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist BLS from the American Heart Association Required Experience: Less than one year - Graduate from an approved nuclear medicine program. Preferred Experience: One to two years experience preferred.
