Springs Village Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietitian to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our residents through personalized nutrition care plans and expert dietary guidance.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs and make adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure proper dietary care and compliance with medical requirements.
- Provide education and counseling to residents and staff about nutrition and healthy eating habits.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to dietetic services and resident care.
- Stay current with latest dietary guidelines, research, and best practices in nutrition care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field; Registered Dietitian (RD) credential preferred.
- Proven experience working as a dietitian in a healthcare or residential care setting.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition care planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid license to practice dietetics in Colorado is preferred.
