- Provide direct patient care and assistance during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols
- Participate in call schedules, including weekday and weekend commitments
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification in the state of practice: Required
- Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) certification: Preferred
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Status (PEARS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Preferred
- Association of perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) membership: Preferred
- Need 2 years experience in perioperative setting
- RN License Required
- BSN in nursing preferred
