CDL A Driver | $26 Per Hour | Lewistown, PA

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Lewistown, PA. This is a temp to hire position.

CDL A Driver Details

Schedule: Sunday - Friday; 1100 am - 300 pm start time.

Pay: $26/HR plus OT after 40 hours

Route Type: OTR

Freight / Load Type: Garage Door Parts

Equipment: Automatic trucks
Handling: Light touch - strapping of pallets, wheeling of carts

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:

License: CDL A

Experience: 9 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:

Safely operate class A vehicles on local routes

Transport medical equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards

Perform required handling tasks including strapping/load securement.

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
