Behavioral Health Therapist-Team Lead-Centre
- Salary Range: $33.34 - $46.68/hour or $69,347 -$97,094 annual salary
- Location: Larimer county, Colorado
- Status: full time, 40 hours per week

Role Overview:
Responsible for providing active and engaged clinical leadership to staff in an outpatient mental health and substance use treatment clinic location. Responsible for providing group and individual clinical supervision for clinicians who work with clients of all ages (children, adolescents, and adults). Provides case consultation to multidisciplinary treatment team members, both in individual and group settings. As part of the outpatient leadership team, supports clinicians with emerging treatments and/or service changes. Responsible for performing direct client care for clients needing mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment.
Essential Duties:
- Provide guidance, training, technical assistance, and coaching to assigned clinical staff to ensure and maintain clinical skills.
- Act as a role model providing support and removing barriers.
- Assist in providing on-site leadership, which may include crisis intervention, attending to needs of staff within the building, problem solving between treatment team members, and helping clients who need assistance.
- Provide clinical supervision to clinical staff members, adhere to regulatory supervision requirements and documentation standards, and ensure the highest competence for clinical staff and effective treatment intervention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary professional staff within SummitStone and the community.
- Perform direct client care including on-going assessments, crisis intervention and case management to clients and their families.
- Conduct crisis intervention via telephone, video, or face-to-face. Intervene and de-escalate crisis situations with clients.
- Assess the risk of harm to self or others and arrange needed resources.
- Develop and monitor service plans, treatment progress, and maintain timely clinical documentation and other reporting data.
- Document treatment plans, progress reports, group notes, individual notes, case management notes, letters, faxes, and phone calls following proper protocol for documentation.
- Have a strong understanding of how to adapt service delivery to meet clients’ needs.
- Maintain close and cooperative relationships with community agencies and other public agencies in carrying out treatment plans.
- Advocate for clients in educational, legal, and other systems.
- Follow agency client-service standards as outlined by SummitStone Health Partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field required.
- Current professional license in appropriate discipline required – LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, with a minimum of two years of active licensure.
- More than three years of experience in directly relevant experience in the behavioral health and substance use field required.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record may be required.
- CPR and First Aid certifications may be required at some locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing clinical supervision preferred. LAC preferred.
- Experience providing services to all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults, preferred.
- Experience in a leadership role preferred. Bilingual/Bi-cultural preferred.
