Our client, a leader in the consumer electronics industry specializing in AR/VR products, is seeking a Trade & Supply Chain Consultant to join their team. As a Trade & Supply Chain Consultant, you will be part of the Supply Chain Operations supporting global sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Trade & Supply Chain Consultant
Location: Menlo Park, California (Onsite)
What's the Job?
- Advise on standard trade workflows across classification, country-of-origin management, FTA utilization, and customs documentation.
- Define and implement best-practice data governance models for trade and supply chain data.
- Design structured KPI frameworks for trade metrics such as tariff exposure, duty spend, and FTA utilization, as well as supply chain metrics like supplier risk and cycle times.
- Recommend tiered reporting structures and support dashboard design to enhance visibility and decision-making.
- Support the documentation of standard operating procedures for reporting and governance processes.
What's Needed?
- 4–7 years of experience in global trade, supply chain operations, or trade advisory roles.
- Practical understanding of trade compliance processes and enterprise reporting environments.
- Experience designing KPI frameworks and governance models.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to analyze complex data and recommend actionable improvements.
