As a Mainframe Developer, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting innovative data solutions. What's the Job?
- Analyze existing mainframe systems to identify data input and retrieval processes
- Dissect and document legacy code to facilitate system understanding and transition
- Collaborate with teams to define database development standards during migration to modern architectures
- Develop and optimize ETL strategies for large data sets ensuring resiliency and stability
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions effectively
What's Needed?
- Proven experience with PL/SQL and mainframe systems, including COBOL
- Experience with ETL strategies, design, and development
- Solid background in writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (PL/SQL)
- Experience working with large data sets and system design principles
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
