Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, periodontal treatments, sealants, and exams.
- Administer local anesthetic as needed.
- Take and review x-rays.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments following strict sterilization protocols.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with dental health regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Illinois.
- Certification to administer local anesthetic.
- CPR certified.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
