Local CDL A Driver - Touch Freight - $25 Per Hour
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Kansas City, KS. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Route & Load Details:
- Pay: $25 Per hour plus overtime after 40 hours
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: cardboard
- Equipment: 53' tractor trailer
- Handling: Touch freight, forklift
Schedule
- Schedule: Monday through Friday start times will be 3 or 4 am and some days 7am end time 4 or 5 pm
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Perform Drop and hooks of cardboard locally around the KC metro and also some long haul runs to places like Des Moines, IA.
Drivers will be doing about 50% warehouse and 50% driving.
When driving you will be asked to perform Drop and hooks of cardboard locally around the KC metro and also some long haul runs to places like Des Moines, IA.
When working in the ware house we will need someone who can operate a sit down forklift and load trailers for routes. Automatic transmission.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of experience operating a tractor trailer
