Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Area Manager to lead retail performance across the Andalucía, based around Sevilla. You’ll be responsible for commercial results, site standards, and safe day-to-day operations across multiple locations, working closely with operators/partners and internal BP teams.
What you’ll do
Own results for your territory: sales performance, service levels, and site standards.
Visit sites regularly, spot issues early, and fix them fast.
Manage relationships with operators/partners and make sure expectations are clear.
Mentor site teams and support managers with practical coaching, goals, and follow-up.
Use customer and sales data to decide what to improve and where to focus your time.
Keep sites compliant with BP standards and local requirements (especially safety and operational standards).
Work with internal teams to remove blockers and keep performance on track.
Support commercial discussions with partners/suppliers when needed (terms, agreements, performance).
Share updates clearly: what’s working, what isn’t, and what support you need.
What you need
Experience managing multiple retail sites (Area Manager or similar).
Proven results improving sales and operational performance.
Strong people leadership: coaching, performance conversations, and training follow-through.
Comfortable working with numbers (sales, margin, customer/service metrics).
Solid communication and negotiation skills.
Fluent Spanish and English (spoken and written).
