Dental Hygienist – Rochester Hills, MI
A well-established private dental practice in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our small, close-knit team of approximately 10 staff members. This is a single-location office that values quality over quantity, with one full hour scheduled for prophylaxis appointments and hygiene assistant support available on most days. We use Dentrix software and focus on providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive, low-stress environment.
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care
- Perform routine prophylaxis with one hour scheduled per patient
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Take and review medical histories
- Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Dentrix
- Follow all infection control and OSHA guidelines
Requirements
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Michigan
- Preferred 5 years of clinical hygiene experience
- Personable, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Pay & Compensation
- $44–$48 per hour, based on experience
