TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in
Memphis, TN. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 3 am-4 am start time, 40-50 hours per week. Occasional overnight with additional pay.
- Pay: $27/hr plus $110 for occasional layover
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Delivering food-grade liquid (Sugar/Corn Syrup)
- Equipment: Tanker, Automatic
- Handling: Light Touch, Hook, and pump liquid using hydraulic PTO
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: Tanker
- Equipment Experience: Tanker
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks, including hook and pump using hydraulic PTO
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
