The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervisory oversight in Seals, Hardware, Repair Service parts and kits. A key responsibility of the position is to ensure the timely and efficient production and delivery of pump related products through direct, coordinated supervision, using lean manufacturing techniques. This individual will be responsible for the cost-effective utilization of employee and capital resources and operating a group of manufacturing departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise production activity within Seals, Repair Service Parts and Kits, Hardware to achieve safety, quality, and delivery, cost, and productivity objectives daily.
Accountable for the supervision of department employees including the overall direction, mentoring, and training. Accomplish objectives by communicating job expectations to employees including planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Hold direct reports accountable for their performance; and coaching employees to include initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Will work with and coordinate assigned activities with other departments, including Engineering, Sales, Customer Care and Supply Chain.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Excellent Supervisory skills; must be able to plan, organize and schedule work among employees; prepare and evaluate department records and reports; communicate effectively with employees, management staff and all other departments, as necessary.
Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
