Real Estate Facilities Manager
Lewisville TX - ON SITE
$60,000 to $70,000 DOE
The Real Estate Facilities Manager - collaborates with GMR air and ground operations, support functions, and leadership to maximize efficiency and reduce risk to help ensure a comprehensive forward-looking approach to lease management is achieved. The position will work directly with GMR legal and our regional customers to initiate, review, terminate, and renew all lease agreements across GMR’s nationwide network of properties. In addition to management of leases, this position will be responsible for contributing to continuous improvements and metric development related to these areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Daily interaction with company personnel to provide guidance and program implementation on lease management and direction
- Capability to read, understand and apply company standards to moderately complex documents affecting real estate leases. This includes, but not limited to the comprehension of sourcing, fair market value, basic legal, and real estate leasing principles
- Works in multiple systems associated with lease management processes
- Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated
- Interfaces with all GMR regions to achieve a healthy lease initiation, renewal and valuation process. This includes, but not limited to, implementing a communication plan/process documentation governance that align with GMR requirements
- Establishes, consolidates, simplifies and enhances the utilization of existing systems for managing processes and applications
Scope
- Support the develop, implementation of nationally standardized procedures, processes, and systems for long term sustainability
- Analyzes information, summarizes findings and presents them using clear and concise data
- Supports new base development and closings with lease reviews and associated supporting documentation
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree in related field, or a combination of education and experience
- Two to three years of combined legal and/or real estate experience is highly preferred
- Demonstration of knowledge of broad range of corporate real estate programs
- Demonstration of professional and interpersonal skillset is required
- This position requires advanced communication and negotiation skills
- Sound judgment and objectivity in decision-making
- Strong knowledge and utilization of Microsoft Office products
