As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will work under the supervision of the Med-Surg Nurse Manager to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual patient care on the nursing unit. You will be responsible for directing co-workers in the implementation of the patient's plan of care and performing other duties as assigned.
- Provide nursing care using the Nursing Process by completing assessments and documenting appropriately
- Develop and implement a plan of care based on patient assessments
- Evaluate patient responses to care and update the plan of care as needed
- Oversee the delegation of patient care specifics to unit staff
- Maintain active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Hold an active Michigan nursing license
- Possess 2+ years of Med Surg experience and strong ortho experience
