Education Diagnostician Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments of academic and adaptive functioning within required timelines

Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student performance, including assisting with IEPs, FBAs, and BIPs

Observe students in academic and social environments

Interpret and document assessment results and submit findings to the school psychologist promptly

Gather educational records and assist with additional assigned tasks

Consult with special education staff to strengthen IEPs or complete FBAs
Education Diagnostician Qualifications:
- Certification: Department of Education license with a Mild Intervention Special Education endorsement
- Background Check: Background Check
- Eligibility to Work: Eligibility to work in the US
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
Education Diagnostician Physical Demands:
- Environment: Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.
- Activity: Frequent engagement in tasks such as reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Sensory: Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.
