TransForce is seeking CDL A Drivers to support local delivery operations based in Saxonburg, PA.This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Truck Driver Details
- Schedule: Thur-Mon or Fri-Mon, 6-8pm start, home daily.
- Pay: $35/hr plus OT after 40
- Route Type: Local delivery across western PA, western NY and WVA
- Freight / Load Type: Grocery items
- Equipment: Reefer trailer, automatic trucks
- Handling: Touch freight with electric pallet jack
CDL A Truck Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Truck Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate reefer trailer on local deliveryroutes
- Transport grocery items in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including the use of electric pallet jack
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
