TransForce is seeking CDL A Drivers to support local operations based in Cincinnati, OH.Thisposition offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Mon -Fri, occasional Saturday,7 am-5 pm, Home Daily
- Pay: Avg. $1,550/week (drivers can make up to $1,700/week)
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: TransportingMulch
- Equipment: Tractor Trailer with Dump Trailer
- Handling: No Touch / Tarping
CDL A Driver MinimumRequirements:
- License:CDL A
- Experience:1+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission
- Equipment Experience:Preferred dump trailer, tarping, and walking floor trailer experience, but will train.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safelyoperate TT with dump traileronlocal routes
- Transport mulchin accordance withDOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks, including tarping
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintainaccuratelogs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including tarping and walking the floor
