Director of Social Work

A well-established Skilled Nursing Facility is actively seeking an experienced Director of Social Work. Previous management experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting is required.

DUTIES:
Directs, establishes, and plans overall policies and goals for the Social Services Department
Responsible for assessments, care planning, and assisting residents with adjustment
Coordinates resident discharges to the community
Performs occasional community outreach
Demonstrates familiarity with a wide range of concepts, practices, and procedures
Exercises a high degree of creativity and independent judgment
Relies on extensive experience to plan and accomplish departmental goals
REQUIREMENTS:
Management experience in a Long-Term Care setting
LSW or MSW required
Knowledge of applicable State and Federal regulations
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
