This Senior ED Technician opportunity is full time, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule. We are looking for a dynamic individual that will assist with direct patient care needs based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of the registered nurse. Maintains environment that is prepared for patient care.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Provides supportive care to the Emergency Dept patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician.
Takes, documents, and reports vital signs. Reports abnormal results immediately to the registered nurse.
Transports patients, as necessary to other departments and inpatient units.
Assists with moving, ambulating and lifting patients.

Qualifications

Current AEMT Certification
Current BLS Certification
Prefer one year experience in an acute care setting
